Denise Pawlett
Investigator
Denise Pawlett is an investigator with Investigative Solutions Network Inc. Denise is a retired police officer with 30 years’ experience between Toronto Police Service and Durham Regional Police Service. She retired from Durham Regional Police at the rank of Sergeant.
She has worked as an investigator and in a supervisory role in the Criminal Investigative Branch and Major Crimes Unit- Sexual Assault/Child Abuse Unit. She is proud of the success that she had in the Sexual Assault Unit in bring offenders to justice, one that went to the Supreme court and was upheld. Denise was also in charge of overseeing and completing the Provincial wide audit on Sexual Assault investigations in 2017.
Denise has completed several courses throughout hr career including Ontario Case Management, Sexual Assault/child abuse investigators course, General Investigators course, Interviewing course, Executive Leadership development Course, Problem Based Learning and Facilitate Adult Learning. She also has a diploma in Police Foundations Leadership in Justice Studies from Humber College.
In her free time, Denise remains active with hobbies like weight training, kayaking, stand Up paddle boarding, and many other outdoor activities/adventures.
