Gary Foxwell
Senior Investigator
Gary Foxwell joined ISN in 2015 as a Senior Investigator and was promoted to Director of Investigations in 2016. Gary continues to be one of ISN’s lead investigators, however his main responsibilities now include assigning and managing all investigations as well as being the client liaison. Along with his recent promotion, Gary’s hard-work and dedication was recognized through receiving the “ISN’s Investigator of the Year” award of 2016.
Prior to joining ISN, Gary worked a combined 33 years of service with the OPP and the Durham Regional Police Service. Throughout his policing career, Gary had multiple roles including; criminal investigator, organized crime investigator, tactical officer, hostage negotiator, and a member of the Durham Regional Critical Incident Stress Management Team.
Retiring as Durham Regional Police Associations Vice President, Gary has a long history in bargaining, conflict resolution, as well as other labor-related situations. Gary has testified in a wide variety of judicial procedures, including POA court, criminal court, Superior Court of Justice, civil and numerous tribunals including various forms of arbitration. After his retirement from the policing sector, Gary was a part-time instructor at Seneca College in the Police Foundations program before joining the ISN team.
