Gary Keys
Principal Investigator and Executive Trainer
Gary Keys is a Principal Investigator with Investigative Solutions Network Inc. In his current role as a Principal Investigator at ISN, Gary is responsible for conducting major and complex investigations. He has an extensive background in police investigations, specifically crimes of interpersonal violence and major investigations including: sexual assault, child molestation, child prostitution, stalking, and criminal harassment.
Gary served with the Toronto Police Service for 35 years, retiring at the rank of Staff Sergeant. He spent the majority of his career in the investigative field, this included working as a Detective in a general Detective Office where he conducted investigations that included sexual assault, attempted murder, robbery, and all levels of assault, criminal harassment, domestic violence, including child abuse, thefts and frauds.
Gary has successfully completed numerous advanced criminal investigative courses including major and serial crime investigation, and advanced sexual assault courses. He has lectured locally and nationally on Child Prostitution Investigative Techniques, Gun & Gang Investigative Techniques, and has sat on a national working group on criminal street gangs. He has provided input to the government of Ontario in meetings with Deputy Ministers on criminal street gangs in Ontario and with the Criminal Intelligence Service of Ontario.
During his tenure as the Officer in Charge of the Toronto Police Service, Gun & Gang Task Force, the Investigator regularly appeared on local and national media outlets as a subject matter expert on criminal street gangs.
